Hi Mr Baker,
Wow im very impressed! We were at the parade this morning and now here it is on your blog, a wonderful photo story of it! You have captured it beautifully. I was very proud to walk with the Newbury children and teachers this morning and to watch them go up to lay the flower wreath on behalf of all of us at Newbury School. Photographer and blogger extraordinaire - we will keep you on! Looking forward to the many photos from camp that you are going to put on the blog for us next term , hehe

hola, room 5.
we are in argentina, uruguay & paraguay on a grand adventure lasting 4 months.
the people speak spanish in these countries. the males are very keen on soccer,
but the argentina rugby team “las pumas” was third in the recent world cup.
the children go to school from 9 to 12 & then go home for lunch & a siesta. they return to school at 3 & continue until 6pm. the families have the night time meal at 10pm.
here is our dog story. on the last day in uruguay outside our accomadation in colonia we noticed a three legged dog. we thought nothing of it until the the dog
decided it would come with us the 1.5 kms to the ferry terminal. we tried our best to stop it, but to no avail. over cobbled streets, down steps & through a tunnel we went. the local people were no help, they just said it must want to go to buenos aires with you. the dog even managed to get in the ticket queue with us. it was finally stopped by an imigration officer from boarding the ferry to buenos aires.
