Hey team, check out this Maths Quiz. It’s pretty cool and now we can practice our Maths even when we’re not at school. Good luck, the questions are based on what we have been doing in class.

Well it’s that time of year again (Fair Go Ad Awards) and I have decided to put together a team to make an entry for the Primary section of the Ad Awards.

Thank you for all the people who applied to be in the team but unfortunately I can only pick 6 people (anymore and it becomes difficult to manage and coordinate).

We have 7 weeks to make the Ad and will have to work on it during lunchtimes and after school. The members will have to perform many different tasks including acting, script writing, camera work, voice-overs, green screen work and editing. As you can see there is lots to learn.

Anyway, lets cut to the chase. Who is in the team? Well it was an extremely difficult decision but the following students have been chosen.

Elizabeth, Emma, Renee D, Elettra, Eliza and Casey-Lee.

Congratulations girls, I look forward to working with you on the Ad. I thought we would call ourselves the ‘E’ team due to the number of ‘E’s in everyones’ names (12 ‘E’s).

Hi room5ians, Blog Homework for this week is to do a PMI on camp. What is a PMI? Well it’s a Plus, Minus and Interesting comment about this year’s Taupo camp. For example:

Plus - The burma Trail. I thought the Burma Trail was awesome fun and everyone was so brave. 

Minus - Not getting to fish at the Trout Farm. Next time I think it would be cool if everyone got a chance to catch a trout. 

Interesting - What if everyone had the option to do the bungy jump?

Try to make your PMI unique to you (Don’t copy others) and try to explain your answers. I look forward to reading your comments.

While on camp Mr Baker did the Taupo Bungy!!! I thought I better put the photos on the Blog as noone believes I did it!! (Everyone who knows me knows I hate heights). Talk about taking a responsible risk! It is amazing what you can do with a little support and encouragement.

Hey everyone, camp was awesome and full of excitement. I have just spent the last couple of hours putting together this slide show from camp. Check it out, it’s a fantastic look back at the week that was.

It is quite long so will take a while to open and dial up users may struggle to open it at all. It has music so don’t forget to turn up your sound.

Hey everyone, we didn’t have time on Friday (Winter Sports) to do a P.O.W voki so it’s left to me to announce the new winner.

I was going to do it on my Voki with a new Voki Challenge but I have left my Microphone at school. So instead I’ll do it the old fashioned way in writing!!!!!

The new P.O.W is …….Ben! Great work Ben, the couch is all yours. Only problem is you have to wait until after camp to take up your position.

Only one more sleep to camp, how exciting!!! Hope everyone has packed their bags and are ready for lots of challenges ahead. If the camp has Internet I will blog back some photos from each days’ adventures. Isn’t modern technology awesome!!

Well done to all the Winter Soccer players today, you were awesome. A special congratulations to Newbury 3 for winning the Tournament.

Sorry about the boots fiasco team. Who would have thought you had to play a winter soccer tournament in sneakers? Well not me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Guess I come from a different era.
